On Saturday 4th November FT Weekend was the exclusive media partner for the Barbarians vs All Blacks match at Twickenham Stadium in London.
The event celebrated the 125th anniversary of the New Zealand Rugby Union.
A crowd of over 60,000 saw extensive FT Weekend branding around the ground and a half-time feature in which Lionel Barber interviewed rugby legend Sir Gareth Edwards and All Blacks captain Kieran Read.
The match was also broadcast live on Sky Sports. Television audiences would have seen the stadium branding and the painted on-pitch FT Weekend logo. The FT also distributed newspapers and offered trial subscriptions in the hospitality areas.
